The Madison Square Garden Company (“MSG”) today announced that Thomas S. Smith has resigned as President and Chief Executive Officer of MSG to assume a senior position at another public company. Pending the appointment of a successor to Mr. Smith, James L. Dolan, the Executive Chairman of MSG, will assume his responsibilities.
