On March 12, 2015, the Board of Directors of The LGL Group, Inc. (the "Company") appointed Patti A. Smith, to serve as the Company's principal accounting officer. Ms. Smith, age 50, has served as the Company's Director of Financial Reporting and Human Resources since March 2015, as its Financial Reporting and Human Resources Manager since April 2014, and as the Financial Reporting Manager since September 2012. From July 2011 to May 2012, Ms. Smith was a Director of Financial Reporting for CNL Financial Group, Inc. ("CNL"), one of the nation's leading private investment management firms. From August 2007 to July 2011 Ms. Smith was the Vice President of Private Equity Accounting for CNL. Ms. Smith is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of New York and holds a BS degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College. Ms. Smith is employed by the Company on an "at will" basis, receives an annual base salary of $95,000, and is eligible to receive annual bonuses at the discretion of the Compensation Committee of the Company's Board of Directors.
