Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 13, 2015, The Pantry, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the expiration of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, applicable to the proposed merger between the Company and a U.S. subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
