Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 11, 2015, BBVA Compass Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the Bord of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (the "Federal Reserve") notified the Company that it did not object to the Company's 2015 capital plan submitted as part of the Federal Reserve's Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review ("CCAR"), including the capital actions which were set forth in the Company's capital plan.
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
