On March 9, 2015, Capital Bank Financial Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing an additional extension of the expiration time for its previously announced consent solicitation with respect to Contingent Value Rights issued under the Contingent Value Rights Agreement Dated October 1, 2012 (CUSIP: 842CVR607). A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
