Item 7.01  Regulation FD Disclosure.

On Monday, March 2, 2015, management of Ocera Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) will present at the 35th Annual Cowen and Company Health Care Conference at 4:50 p.m. EST at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, MA.  The presentation will include an update on the Company’s “Stop HE” Phase 2b clinical trial of intravenously administered OCR-002 and plans for a Phase 1 clinical trial of an orally deliverable form of OCR-002.   A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available in the “Investors” section of the Company’s website, www.ocerainc.com.  A replay of the presentation will be available for 30 days following the conference for those unable to listen live. A copy of the presentation slide deck is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
