On February 20, 2015, SpendSmart Networks, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release provided a business update and announced that, based on its unaudited preliminary financial statements, and excluding non-cash expenses such as stock based compensation and depreciation, January 2015 was the first profitable month for the Company in recent history.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished, not filed, under Item 8.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K.
