On February 19, 2015, Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (“REG”) announced in a press release that its Board of Directors authorized a $30 million share repurchase program. Under this program, REG may repurchase shares of its common stock in open market transactions, privately negotiated transactions or by other means. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein. For purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the press release is deemed furnished not filed.
