On February 19, 2015, FairPoint Communications, Inc. issued a joint press release (the "Press Release") announcing that it has reached tentative agreements on the terms for new collective bargaining agreements with its two northern New England unions, the Communications Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. These tentative agreements are subject to ratification by union membership, and, therefore, details of the agreements are not being disclosed at this time. The parties agreed that the striking workers will return to work on February 25, 2015. A copy of the Press Release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K (this "Current Report") as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein solely for purposes of this Item 7.01 disclosure.
