Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 16, 2015 Union Bankshares Corporation issued a press release announcing that it has changed the legal name of its bank to Union Bank & Trust from Union First Market Bank. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
