Item 8.01. Other Events.
On February 17, 2015, Quicksilver Resources Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has decided not to make the approximately $13.6 million interest payment due February 17, 2015 on its 9⅛% senior notes due 2019. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
