Item 5.02. Election of Directors.
On January 16, 2015, the Board of Directors of Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Theodore M. Crosbie, Ph. D. as a member of the Board of the Company. Mr. Crosbie will serve as a Class I director and his term will expire at the 2015 annual meeting of stockholders. In connection with his appointment, Mr. Crosbie received 4,134 restricted stock units.
