On January 12, 2015, Mercury General Corporation issued a press release regarding a decision made by a California Administrative Law Judge and adopted by the California Department of Insurance related to a Notice of Non-Compliance originally issued in February 2004. The press release, issued January 12, 2015, is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
