Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 12, 2015, Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted the company clearance to market the t:flex™ Insulin Pump. The press release announcing the FDA clearance is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished and shall not be deemed “filed” for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or the Exchange Act, or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference into any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the Exchange Act, except as expressly set forth by specific reference in such filing.
