Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
(b) As previously reported, Kirk W. Walters resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer of People’s United Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) effective December 31, 2014. Mr. Walters remains a Senior Executive Vice President of the Company with responsibility for corporate development and strategic planning.
(c) R. David Rosato has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Rosato, who is 53 years old, has served as a Senior Executive Vice President of the Company and of the Company’s principal operating subsidiary, People’s United Bank (the “Bank”), and as Chief Financial Officer of the Bank since April 14, 2014. Prior to that date, Mr. Rosato had served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of the Bank and the Company since 2007.
