(b) On December 29, 2014, Perry Premdas, currently a Class III director of Compass Minerals International, Inc. (the "Company"), informed the Company that he has decided not to stand for re-election as a director at the Company's 2015 annual meeting of stockholders. Mr. Premdas has been a director of the Company since 2004.
Mr. Premdas’ decision not to stand for re-election is not the result of any disagreement with the Company.
