AutoNation Announces Reported Retail Sales of 27,055 New Vehicles in November 2014

Reported retail new vehicle unit sales in November 2014 increased 6% versus November 2013

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., December 3, 2014 - AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), America’s largest automotive retailer, today announced that it reported to automotive manufacturers retail sales of 27,055 new vehicles in November 2014, an increase of 6% as compared to November 2013. Industry reporting for November 2014 includes one less calendar day than in November 2013.
November 2014 reported retail new vehicle unit sales for AutoNation’s operating segments were as follows:
7,997 for Domestic, up 8% versus November 2013,
12,918 for Import, up 6% versus November 2013, and
6,140 for Premium Luxury, up 4% versus November 2013.

On a same-store basis, reported retail new vehicle unit sales in November 2014 were up 4% as compared to November 2013.

AutoNation expects to report December 2014 reported retail new vehicle unit sales on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
