Item 8.01 Other Events
On November 25, 2014, Entravision Communications Corporation (the “Company”) announced that the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) has approved the extension of the Company’s share repurchase program announced in August 2014 with a repurchase authorization of up to an additional $10 million of the Company’s outstanding common stock, for a total repurchase authorization of up to $20 million. Under the share repurchase program, the Company is authorized to purchase shares from time to time through open market purchases or negotiated purchases, subject to market conditions and other factors. The stock repurchase program may be suspended or discontinued at any time without prior notice. A copy of the press release issued by the Company on November 25, 2014 in connection therewith is filed as Exhibit 99.1.
