Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 18, 2014, Entergy Louisiana, LLC (the “Company”) entered into an Underwriting Agreement for the sale of $250,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its First Mortgage Bonds, 4.95% Series due January 15, 2045 (the “Bonds”). The sale of the Bonds closed on November 21, 2014. The Bonds were registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, by means of the Company’s automatic shelf Registration Statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-190911-07), which became effective upon filing on August 30, 2013.
