Item 8.01 Other Events

On November 18, 2014, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Limoneira Company (the “Company”) elected Mr. Gordon E. Kimball to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Company, effective immediately. This election fills the Chairman positon left open by the passing of Mr. Alan M. Teague, the Company’s former Chairman, on September 11, 2014.

On November 20, 2014, the Company issued a press release, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, announcing Mr. Kimball’s election as Chairman of the Board of the Company.
