(b) On November 10, 2014, Edward Pesicka, a named executive officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (the “Company”), informed the Company of his decision to retire effective March 31, 2015. Mr. Pesicka became an executive officer of the Company in 2008 and is its Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
