Item 8.01 Other Events.
On November 12, 2014, State National Companies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share payable on its outstanding common stock. The dividend will be payable on December 29, 2014 to the Company’s shareholders of record on December 12, 2014. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
