Item 8.01.  Other Events.

DeVry Education Group Inc. (“DeVry Group”) announced on November 11, 2014 that Connie R. Curran, RN, Ed.D, FAAN, Chair of its Board of Directors, died on November 10, 2014 at the age of 67. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.  Dr. Curran had served as a director of DeVry Group since 2003, and became Board Chair in 2013.

Lyle Logan, a director since 2007 and Chair of DeVry Group’s Nominating & Governance Committee, has assumed the role of interim Board Chair until Dr. Curran’s successor is appointed.
