ITEM 2.02 — RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION
On November 6, 2014, Calpine Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial and operating results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. As set forth in the press release, the Company will host a conference call to discuss its financial and operating results for the third quarter of 2014 on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 10 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. CT.
