On November 3, 2014, David M. Cordani was appointed to the Board of Directors of General Mills, Inc. (the "Company"). Prior to his appointment, the Board made the determination that Mr. Cordani qualifies as an independent director in accordance with the New York Stock Exchange Listing Standards. Mr. Cordani was named to the Board’s Audit and Compensation Committees.
