On October 29, 2014, Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), announced the results of its operations for the three months ended September 30, 2014. Additional information is included in the Company’s press release dated October 29, 2014, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
Item 8.01 - Other Events
Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the Company to repurchase up to $150 million in shares of its common stock from time to time. The repurchase program will be funded from the Company's cash on-hand, cash flow from operations and/or cash proceeds from the divestiture of non-core assets.
