On October 2, 2014 Scio Diamond Technology Corporation (the “Company”) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (the “MOU”) with Renaissance Diamonds, Inc., (“Renaissance”). The MOU represents the good faith intentions of the Company and Renaissance to collaborate through a joint venture to develop procedures and recipes and market and sell lab-grown fancy-colored diamonds.
A copy of the above-referenced press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
