ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On October 27, 2014, SinoCoking Coal & Coke Chemical Industries, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had commenced construction of an underground coal gasification facility for the production of clean-burning syngas. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
