Item 5.03. Amendments to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws; Change of Fiscal Year
On October 17, 2014, the Board of Directors of Nanometrics Incorporated (the “Company”) approved a change in the Company’s fiscal year, from a fiscal year ending on the Saturday closest to December 31, to a fiscal year ending on the last Saturday of each calendar year. This change is effective with the current fiscal year. The Company’s current fiscal year will end on December 27, 2014.
The Company will not be required to file a transition report in connection with the change in fiscal year.
