On September 15, 2014, Alpha reconfirmed selected 2014 guidance, as set forth in its earnings release dated August 6, 2014, for the following items: Coal Shipments, including West, Eastern Steam and Eastern Metallurgical; East - Adjusted Cost of Coal Sales per Ton; West - Adjusted Cost of Coal Sales per Ton; Selling, General & Administrative Expense; Depletion, Depreciation & Amortization; Interest Expense; Cash Paid for Interest; and Capital Expenditures.
