On September 4, 2014, Nanosphere, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has engaged Jefferies LLC as the Company’s financial advisor to assist the Company in the development and evaluation of a full range of potential strategic alternatives for the Company.
A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the engagement of Jefferies LLC is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
