On September 2, 2014, Columbia Banking System, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the appointment of Ms. Kumi Yamamoto Baruffi to serve as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Company and the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Columbia State Bank, effective September 1, 2014.
A copy of the Company’s press release announcing Ms. Baruffi’s appointment is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
