Item 5.02. Departure of Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 26, 2014, Thomas F. Darden informed the Board of Directors of Quicksilver Resources Inc. of his decision to resign from the Board effective September 1, 2014. Mr. Darden will continue in his role as advisor to Quicksilver in its pursuit of a strategic transaction in the Horn River Basin in British Columbia.
