| Item 1.04 | Mine Safety—Reporting of Shutdowns and Patterns of Violations. |
On August 13, 2014, the Corporation received an order issued by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (“MSHA”) under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 at its Stamper Quarry in Platte City, Missouri. The order stated that a miner was standing on top of a water truck to fill the truck. The order also stated that the miner was approximately 10 feet above the ground and the miner was not protected by handrailing or wearing fall protection. No one was injured in the cited incident and the order was terminated. The Corporation took corrective action.
