Item 7.01 | Regulation FD Disclosure. |
On August 14, 2014, WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Andrew Asher will join the Company as a Senior Vice President on August 29, 2014. The Company anticipates that Mr. Asher will be appointed Chief Financial Officer by the Board of Directors of the Company in November 2014. Until that time, Tom Tran will remain as Chief Financial Officer and will assist with Mr. Asher’s transition.
A copy of the press release announcing Mr. Asher’s employment with the Company is furnished with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
