Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 14, 2014, the board of directors of Southwest Bancorp, Inc. (“Southwest”) approved a stock repurchase program pursuant to which up to 5.0% of Southwest’s outstanding shares of common stock, or approximately 990,000 shares, may be repurchased. A copy of the press release announcing the approval of the stock repurchase program is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
