Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On July 25, 2014, Christine Lee, Senior Vice President, Women’s Merchandising and Design, of Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that she was resigning from her position effective as of July 30, 2014. Because her resignation is voluntary, she is not entitled to receive any severance benefits under the Company’s Executive Severance Plan. Brieane Breuer, who joined the Company in 2007 and is its current Vice President, Women’s Design, will assume the additional responsibilities of Women’s Merchandising on an interim basis.
Ms. Breuer received her Masters Degree in Fashion Design and Styling from Istituto Marangoni and over the past 13 years has held various merchandising and design roles at high-end fashion brands, such as Valentino, as well as at Abercrombie & Fitch.
