Item 8.01. Other Events.

On June 30, 2014, Enventis Corporation (the “Company” or “Enventis”) and Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. (“Consolidated”) entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger (“Merger Agreement”).

On July 30, 2014 the Company began distributing a letter from the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, John Finke, to Enventis’ vendors.  A copy of the letter to Enventis’ vendors is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
