DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND

ROANOKE, VA, July 16, 2014 -- Optical Cable Corporation (Nasdaq GM: OCC) (“OCC^®” or the “Company”) today announced the declaration of a regular quarterly cash dividend to OCC’s shareholders.

OCC’s Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.02 per share on the Company’s common stock effective July 15, 2014. The dividend will be paid on or about August 15, 2014, to shareholders of record on July 29, 2014.

The dividend announced today implies an annual cash dividend of $0.08 per common share.

Neil Wilkin, President and Chief Executive Officer of OCC, said, “We are pleased to announce our sixteenth consecutive quarterly dividend since OCC’s Board of Directors began declaring quarterly dividends in October 2010.”
