On July 1, 2014, James E. Brunner, senior vice president and chief legal counsel of CMS Energy Corporation and Consumers Energy Company (collectively the “Company”), retired from the Company. Mr. Brunner was a named executive officer in the Company’s 2014 proxy statement.
