Item 8.01.  Other Events. 

 

On June 30, 2014, Associated Bank, N.A. (“Associated Bank”), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Associated Banc-Corp (the “Company”), purchased approximately $100 million of consumer credit card receivables from a third party.  These credit card receivables are from people who are otherwise core customers of Associated Bank.  


The Company expects average loan growth of approximately 3% in the second quarter of 2014 as compared to the first quarter of 2014.  


The Company will release 2014 second quarter financial results on July 17, 2014 after the markets close.
