Item 8.01 Other Events
On June 16, 2014, Spirit Realty Capital, Inc. ("the Company") issued a press release announcing the declaration of a cash dividend to its stockholders for the second quarter of 2014. A cash dividend of $0.16625 per share of common stock will be paid on July 15, 2014 to stockholders of record on June 30, 2014. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
