Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 5, 2014, Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (“Wabtec”) completed the previously announced acquisition of Fandstan Electric Group Ltd., a leading rail and industrial equipment supplier based in London, England, for cash of $220 million. The press release announcing the acquisition is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
