Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective on May 19, 2014, Mr. Yeliang Zhou resigned as a director of Pingtan Marine Ltd. (the “Company”) due to health conditions. Mr. Zhou’s decision to resign did not involve any disagreement with the Company, the Company’s management or the Board of Directors.
The Board has not made any determination at this time regarding nominating a replacement for Mr. Zhou on the Board.
