Item    8.01    Other Events.
On May 13, 2014, Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) and Kite Realty Group Trust, a Maryland real estate investment trust (“Kite”), held a joint webcast to discuss the transactions contemplated by that certain Agreement and Plan of Merger dated February 9, 2014 among the Company, Kite and KRG Magellan, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company and wholly-owned subsidiary of Kite (“Merger Sub”), pursuant to which the Company will be merged with and into Merger Sub, with Merger Sub continuing as the surviving entity and a wholly owned subsidiary of Kite. A copy of the transcript of this webcast is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
