Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 7, 2014, the Board of Directors of First National Corporation declared a quarterly dividend of $0.025 per common share, which is payable on June 20, 2014 to shareholders of record as of June 6, 2014. Prior to this declaration, the Registrant had issued a press release on August 1, 2011 reporting that the Company would suspend cash dividends on common stock.
