On April 30, 2014, Encore Capital Group, Inc. issued a press release announcing the pricing of $134 million of Texas Tax Lien Collateralized Notes, Series 2014-1 issued in connection with the securitization of a pool of liens for ad valorem property taxes in the State of Texas in a private offering that is exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
