Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 28, 2014 Berry Plastics Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the commencement by Berry Plastics Corporation, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary (the “Issuer”), of a cash tender offer and consent solicitation with respect to any and all of the Issuer’s outstanding 9½% Second Priority Senior Secured Notes due 2018. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
