Item 2.02 Results of Operations
For the quarter ended March 31, 2014, American Express Credit Corporation (the “Company”) expects to report (a) net income of $78 million compared to $111 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2013, (b) provisions for losses of $61 million compared to $42 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 and (c) a ratio of earnings to fixed charges of 1.59 compared to 1.58 for the quarter ended March 31, 2013. These results represent preliminary estimates for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
