Item 7.01    Regulation FD Disclosure.

        On April 18, 2014, The Macerich Company (the "Company") made available to its stockholders its 2013 Annual Report, which included a letter to stockholders from Arthur M. Coppola, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer (the "Letter to Stockholders"). The Letter to Stockholders is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

        The information in this report (including Exhibit 99.1 hereto) is being "furnished" pursuant to Item 7.01 of Form 8-K and shall not be deemed to be "filed" with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") or incorporated by reference into any other filing with the SEC.
